Ignore the cheesy title for now but once a week or so I will bring up into focus a book having trouble paying the players. One of the complaints I had as a player reading the forums was it was too hard to keep up with everything. Books that look to take shots at players count on that. Gee Irish you didn't see that thread last month on XXX book not paying people? Amazingly a book not paying can have a 100 response thread here but soon it fades off the front pages and is forgotten by many of the readers. That doesn't even take into account new players who may sign up as well. Players can't surf these forums 24 hours a day and even then retain all they read from months back. We need to keep bad books in the spotlight so to speak. After you make the list you will always be on it.

On this site I will be bringing up recent cases of slow paying books and not only post it here but also link it in the forum which is the most active at that time of the year. For instance since a book may be interested in recruiting players who bet baseball I will copy and paste this to that forum as well. I want to hit as many readers/potential post up players as we can. Some readers participate in our busy pick forums by reading picks or dropping off their own but don't visit off-shore, we'll take the message to them. With so many good books we have here there is no reason to gamble with one of these sort of places. Books that scam the players hurt every one one of us. Hurts the players obviously who lose their money, hurts us the watchdog sites who try and keep up with them, and also hurts the legit books who always have paid and always will pay you. In short it hurts the industry. With that in mind if any other site wants to copy this for their forum I have no problems with it. The more we work together the better it will be for all of us. First entry coming up soon.....

BTW this will focus on active books still trying to get post up money. Books who have already gone down will not be the subject of these posts.

Thrill - is it working now? If not I will forward it on to the techies. I heard of troubles reported but thought it was okay now? If not please advise.

Charlie - PLEASE forward on to me any info you have, thanks. Anyone will be eligible for it.

Thanks everyone else for the comments. I don't want to ever interfere with the fun stuff we have as I like it myself but I also want to use some of the forum for other stuff as well. Gambling is a serious business for some of us. If any of the real players have any comments or suggestions please forward them to me.

I second the idea and I request that you add BML Sports to your list!

Volume I of IN THE RX SPOTLIGHT......

theonlinebet.com

Not only have they stiffed one of our readers of almost 8 dimes they aren't too worried about it. Many requests to them to hear their side of the story has fallen on deaf ears. Hard to talk about it when you have no leg to stand on. I have looked into this and corresponded with the player involved several times, including phone calls. There is no doubt in my mind he has gotten the raw end of the deal here, don't walk but RUN if you ever recieve any offers from this bunch. The scariest part of this is the player whom got stiffed would have been very easy to work with had they ever wanted to resolve this in any manner. He would have settled for a very low monthly payout and would have worked with them if they showed any inclination at all to pay this any attention or take care of it. No surprise but had a friend call yesterday to inquire about depositing money and sure enough they couldn't get back to him quick enough. Of course I have left numerous messages trying to talk to them and nothing. Think this one speaks for itself. To give others more information the player in question even has his own web site concerning this I want to pass on.

www.stiffed.homeip.net/tob

I know there are others who belong here and I will be adding them as we go, be patient but this will be a permanent RX feature. From here on out this group will be volume one (Vol I). Anyone who has any information about them or any known affiliations with other possible books looking not to pay the players please contact me at once. If we save ONE poster from sending these people money it will be worth my time. Thanks...

Will absolutely look into them as well to add them here. I see you are doing a good job spreading the word already, good to see. What happens sometimes is the player involved moves on and the issue dies. Then the next player comes along and gets beat out of his money as well. That is why any time I come across a stiff job who is still taking players money I will always list them in this thread. Small thing at first but it will grow. They count on us forgetting and moving on, I plan on never forgetting. Once the player burns out I will try and continue to remind the readers. Once you are listed here you are here forever.

Strutt - thanks for the good words, especially from an experienced off-shore player. I'm sick and tired of players getting stiffed. Until Ken asks me to move on to other pastures I will do all I can.

In dealing with TheOnlinebet.com, they openly admitted to owing the player several thousand dollars. They openly admitted to me that they were having financial troubles, but yet they continue to take post-ups.

Pat,
What about Homebets? I know looking closely at a sponsor is a little dangerous but with you here maybe that can change.

Players deserve to know where the heck this operation is and I'm not talking about their trust officer. Are they really operating out of Mexico as suggested? And why would they hide & lie about where they operate from, what's the motive? Can you buy a spot on the Rx and lie about who you are and where you are?

I was contacted a couple weeks ago by a player asking for assistance with a payout dispute with TheOnlineBet.com. The player sent me screen shots of account info & live chat where TheOnlineBet made it clear he was owed the monies. I tried for over a week to contact Mr John Stone & to get him to discuss the troubles.

He hid & would not speak of the incident. He made his customer Service guys take the calls and emails. These guys get to hear the complaints and try to defend a chit book. Mark & Steven were cooperative. They told me as much as they could. They confirmed that the player was owed over $8000 & that there was really no reason for him not to get paid. Steven said that there were 3-5 players not getting paid right now because OnlineBet was robbed by Epoint & funds were weak.

Funny that they only had 3-5 players getting stiffed. If they were paying the rest, then why would they not send a payout of some amount to this player? I was told by Steven that he would send the player a dime last Monday. It never happened. TheOnlineBet openly admitted to me that the player was owed. They have made no attempt to pay this player a dime. It is truly pathetic that they can use the excuse of Epoint robbing them & the funds are weak, but yet I assure you they will take a deposit right now, knowing they are having financial troubles.

Beware and pass the word. Let's try to prevent others from getting sucked into a book that cannot pay any decent size player & they have made this clear. They are hoping for postups to help them. That is not how the game is played.

The player here has screen shots of wagers, withdrawal requests, & live chat to show proof. I hope he will take time to comment here as well.

Mr John Stone is mad at the player because Anthony at Secure Buxx gave the player a payout without the consent of TheOnlineBet. The player tried to do everything right. Anthony tried many times to contact The OnlineBet for approval of the payout, but they would not reply because they were not going to pay this player. Anthony did the right thing by releasing some money to this player. If not, he would be owed over $10,000.

Bump for the victims.

Patrick, your remark of "we need to keep bad books in the spotlight so to speak. After you make the list you will always be on it" struck a good note with me. Like a nice harp when fine dining.

What about a forum dedicated to just that?

Maybe the book in question can be omitted from the list with a payout equal to 10 times the amount owed as a good

.

I don't know all the ins and outs at this time, just typing what comes to mind.

By the Rx being in it's infancy, this may sound small. But one day, as it may grow, it may be quite detrimental to have ones' book listed under the "McIrish Watchdog Sideline".

I'm not saying they are good or bad but when a sportsbook isn't front and center about its operations I steer clear.
